Being Canadian, I would guess that if Gord Downie of the Tragically Hip (a Canadian music legend) was walking down the street in the UK, no one would recognize him. Or probably have heard of him I'd wager. The Hip have had 9 #1 albums here and sell out massive venues in Canada but just over the border (and across the ocean) no one gives a piss.
